Dear colleagues,

I hope all of you have had a nice summer and you are already looking forward to the upcoming

theatre season.   Bringing you into the right mood I am sending you this little reminder of

the 19th SZENE BUNTE WÄHNE Theaterfestival for a young audience.  

Please find below further news about the festival programme, plus the application form and an announcement of a seminar for theatre makers organised by ASSITEJ Austria in attachment.

In its course there will be a presentation of the 17th ASSITEJ world congress 2011 and a podium discussion about the possibilities and needs of international touring.

From the 23rd September to the 04th October 2009 the international SZENE BUNTE WÄHNE

Theaterfestival for a young audience will take place in Horn, Krems, Langenlois, St. Pölten,

Zwettl, Raabs und Zaingrub (A) und Jindrichuv Hradec (CZ) .    

To the motto NEST - WINGS - HARBOUR  the programme presents 15 productions which deal

with the subject of family in all its facets, tell about children who grow wings and about people

searching for a place to rest in the confusions of life. And of course they will also electrify the

audience, make it laugh, send it on adventure trips and impress with their virtuosity!

And there will be some more theatre surprises: with DROOMEDARIS REX (B), JAN (B), Adriatik -

Novasít (CZ) and  Laurent Dupont/ Cie. ACTA (F) we will present a  bunch of companies for the

very first time at our festival and for the first time two "home made" productions of SZENE BUNTE WÄHNE can be seen.     But also beside the theatre stages there is also a lot to see, hear and do :

Little kids can send their favourite teddies on a holiday adventure with TEDDY TOURS or enjoy

some more of the festival specials, theatre makers are invited to join the ASSITEJ seminar about international touring possibilites and  the musicbox will again guarantee for long, funky party nights.
