Maskeworkshop på Samsø, 8.-11. maj 2009:

'The Power of Mask, Voice, Body and Text'

For 4. år i træk arrangerer Teaterværkstedet Madam Bach en maskeworkshop på Dansebjerg, Samsø med Per Brahe og Aole T. Miller fra New York.

Workshoppen har de seneste år haft deltagere fra Sverige, Norge, USA og Danmark.

“THINKING, FEELING AND WILL": Balancing thinking, feeling and will is the foundation for an actor’s complete transformation. Without these elements to stimulate form, the body cannot achieve the right balance. It is also the foundation for mask work, and it is essential for an actor…”—Training the American Actor, “Beyond Michael Chekhov Technique”, Per Brahe.

Per Brahe and Aole T. Miller will be bringing their new mask series of thinking-feeling-will masks made by Bali’s greatest mask maker Ida Bagus Anom.

These masks challenge the body to activate the different energetic centers of “Thinking, Feeling, and Will.” This revolutionary move forward in Michael Chekhov’s process of training actor’s bodies is deeply realized in these new masks. The work will address each participant's personal issues with thinking too much, feeling too emotional, listening, contact and action.

Fredag, den 8. maj 16:00 – 21:30

Lørdag, den 9. maj 9:00 – 21:30

Søndag, den 10. maj 9:00 – 16:00 + fest

Mandag, den 11. maj 9:00 – 14:00

Pris:
