The Power of Mask, Voice and Body:

Copenhagen, 18-20 June 2010

Master teacher Per Brahe offers a workshop combining mask, voice, movement and text. The idea of using masks in actor's training is to give the actor a deep experience of the body and to unlock the creativity of the physical body and its inspiration. A freedom and release of the body and voice will result in using Per Brahe’s masks during the three workshop days. Mask work also helps actors find an experience of working from the character’s ego without the actor’s personal judgments getting in the way.

We work with character-masks, archetype-masks, voice-masks and with the developing of the techniques of Michael Chekhov in character work/ directions.

Per Brahe lives and works in New York and is the Director of the successful Studio 5 in Brooklyn.

During the past 22 years he has been working in Bali once a year with students from all over the world.
