Danish Interactive Theatre in the Balkans As part of the ASSITEJ collaboration between Denmark and the Balkans, the theatre Carte Blanche visited the international theatre festival BITEF in Belgrade at the end of September 2007. Among the shows, three performances of the animation show ”Løvspring” took place. Artistic Director of Carte Blanche, Sara Topsøe Jensen, also gave a 4-day workshop for the local actors and directors on interactive theatre for children and young people, based on the experiences from her performance ”Leg” (”Play”). One of the major Serbian TYA Theatres, Pozoriste Bosko Buha, participated with eight young, professional actors.		Following an intense week of practice, play and work with Sara – the actors and other participants ended the workshop by performing small, intimate ”Play” inspired shows for invited school children. The week was full of mutual artistic inspiration and it is now the plan to continue the collaboration in 2008. Among other things – with the invitation of selected actors to the Danish April Festival with special reference to a future Danish-Serbian production of ”Leg” entitled ”Igra”.
